  1. Only applicable to customers who subscribe to a MyVideoPass Data Sim with a minimum 12 months contract. Basic monthly fee of MyVideoPass Data Sim is at $48. Customers can enjoy $18 MTR, Tunnels, Mobile Services License & Administration Fees wavier per month during the contract period.
  2. Local Designated Video Data Usage can be used for watching videos, animations and reading comics via the designated video Apps in the current bill month. Designated Video Apps include YouTube, iQiYi, YouKu, clickplay, MiguC, 17 Media (“Designated Video Apps”). **Local Designated Video Data does not include Apps download, account registration and login, advertisement, videos download, and novels, text, images and photos loading. When the monthly Local Designated Video Data Usage is used up, the Local Designated Video Data service will be suspended until the next bill month. If customers continue to use the Designated Video Apps after the Local Designated Video Data Usage is used up, the extra consumed data will be deducted from the 500MB Local Data or other data package offer (if applicable). Local Designated Video Data service does not include membership and fee-based services offered by the aforesaid Apps.
  3. Customers will be entitled to 500MB monthly Local Data Usage during the contract period for uses other than Monthly Local Designated Video Data Usage, which includes but not limited to Apps download, account registration and login, advertisement, videos download, and text, images and photos loading. When the monthly Local Data Usage is used up, all data services (including Local Data, Local Designated Video Data and UTV free local data ) will be suspended until the next bill month.
  4. Customers can purchase 4.5G Extra Local Data to continue using the Local Data service and Local Designated Video Data service. The extra data purchased can only be consumed in the current bill month.
  5. Data roaming usage will be calculated according to Hong Kong Time 00:00 to 23:59.
  • For all contents of Designated Video Apps are provided by third parties, CMHK is not responsible or liable for and offers no guarantee for the quality, nature, accuracy, usefulness, copyright or intellectual property issues of any content.
  • Local Designated Video Data service shall only be applicable to the latest version of the Designated Video Apps downloaded from Android and iOS official app store.
  • The Designated Video Apps are subject to change from time to time, please visit our websites for details.
  • If customers terminate the contract within the minimum contract period, customers are required to pay the Liquidated Damage as stated on the contract to CMHK.
  • 4.5G local data service is provided under CMHK 4.5G network. In those Hong Kong areas where the 4.5G networks are not available, CMHK will provide the service under 4G/3G/2G network. The use of designated handset model(s) or device(s) are required for using 4.5G network service, please click here to check devices supporting 4.5G.   • China data roaming service is provided by China Mobile 2G, 3G TD-SCDMA or 4G TDD-LTE network; the service is not applicable to FTP, P2P applications (including BitTorrent, Peer Casting applications - including PP Stream, PPTV, etc). China Mobile's 3G TD-SCDMA/ 4G TDD-LTE network will be connected only with compatible handset device.

  • In case of any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese translation, the English version shall prevail.

  1. Does MyVideoPass Data Sim include membership offered by the designated Apps?
  2. No, it does not include membership and fee-based services offered by the Apps.

     

  3. When the 1GB Local Data Usage is used up, can I still use 50GB Local Designated Video Data and watch videos on the Apps?
  4. When the 1GB Local Data Usage is used up, data services (including local data and local designated video data) will be suspended until the next bill month. You may purchase extra Local Data to continue using Local Data service and Local Designated Video Data service.

     

  5. When the 50GB Local Designated Video Data Usage is used up, can I still watch videos on the designated Apps?
  6. If you continue to use the Designated Video Apps after the Local Designated Video is used up, the extra consumed data will be deducted from the 1GB Local Data or other data package offer (if applicable).

     

  7. As an existing customer of CMHK, can I subscribe to MyVideoPass Data SIM?
  8. If basic monthly fee of existing service plan is lower than that of MyVideoPass Data SIM, you can subscribe to MyVideoPass Data SIM.

     

  9. I am not using iPhone or Android phone, can I subscribe to MyVideoPass Data SIM?
  10. MyVideoPass Data SIM is only be applicable to the latest version of the designated Apps supported by iOS and Android.
