Apple Services Direct Carrier Billing - Terms of Service
  1. Apple Direct Carrier Billing Service (“Service”) allows customers (“Customers”) of China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited (“CMHK”) to make digital content purchases such as apps, games, books or movie rentals in Apple services and settle the amount of payment via their CMHK monthly phone bills.
  2. Apple Services include but not limited to Apple Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+ and iCloud, etc. For the details of Apple service launched in Hong Kong, please visit https://www.apple.com.
  3. This Service is only available for designated CMHK postpaid customers, excluding CMHK prepaid, corporate, voice-only plan, secondary SIM and share plan’s supplementary SIM customers.
  4. For newly-joined CMHK customers, the activation time of this Service will be 2:00am of the day after the activation of the service plan. For MNP customers, the activation time of this Service will be 2 hours after successfully porting-in.
  5. For newly-joined CMHK postpaid service plan customers with account activation period within 90 days, they are not able to use this Service(this Service can be used on or after 91 days of the account activation ); while the account activation period less than 180 days,a monthly spending limit of HK$300 is set for this Service. Thereafter, the monthly spending limit for this Service will be adjusted to HK$600.
  6. The period of each monthly spending limit starts from the first day of the customer’s bill month and ends on the last day of the bill month. For the avoidance of doubt, if Customer’s bill date starts from 6th day of each calendar month, then his monthly spending limit will be from 6th day of the month until 5th day of the next month. If the purchase amount exceeds the monthly limit, payment cannot be settled using the Service.
  7. Any download of contents from Apple services and use of the apps, contents and services incur mobile data usage. The relevant data charges will be charged at or deducted from relevant subscribed service plans, or be charged additionally according to the standard rate. When using this Service and Apple services abroad, standard roaming data charges shall apply.
  8. If user is not the account holder of CMHK mobile service account, user must get the prior permission from the account holder before incurring charges on the CMHK service account.
  9. All services for the Purchase are provided by Apple. The terms and conditions of Apple services shall apply to the relevant purchases and services, including refund policy.
  10. In order to set up this Service, Customers must use their iPhone to set up their Apple ID. Once the account is successfully set up, they can use this Service to settle the payments by signing in with the same Apple ID on their iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, or PC. The transactions thereafter will be charged to the CMHK phone bills of Customers without further notice.
  11. Refunds of all purchases and subscriptions can only be performed by the app developers or Apple. The Service provided by CMHK only serves as a payment method. For any refunds, the Customer will need to contact the developers or Apple directly. All refund requests are required to follow Apple’s refund policy which are specified in email receipt issued by Apple.
  12. For any inquiries and complaints on purchase in the Apple services, please submit your application in accordance with the support instructions specified in email receipt issued by Apple.
  13. All contents under Apple services are provided by Apple, and CMHK is not responsible or liable for the quality, nature, accuracy and usefulness of the contents.
  14. CMHK reserves the right to suspend, change or terminate this Service or amend these Terms of Service at any time without notice. In the event of dispute, CMHK’s decision shall be final.
  15. These Terms of Service for the purchases are available in both English and Chinese. In case of inconsistency between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.
  16. CMHK shall under no circumstances be liable whether in contract, tort, statute or otherwise (including without limitation for negligence, breach of contract, defamation) for any special, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including without limitation, loss of revenue, loss of data or goodwill) which is suffered, sustained or incurred by the Customer or any person arising (directly or indirectly) from or out of or relating to the Service.

As the payment setting is tied to your Apple ID, you cannot disable “Pay by “Apple Services Direct Carrier Billing” Service” for specific Apple devices.
