• When receiving incoming calls abroad, or making calls back to Hong Kong or other countries/ destinations via Roaming Call Back Service, charges will be calculated on 1-minute-per-unit basis.
• When using "Roaming Call Back Service", roaming charges apply once the call set up from our system is received, regardless of whether the called line is busy or has no answer.
• By using *115* Service for making call and your Hong Kong number will be shown on recipient's handset. (Availability of the services depends on the local network operators)
• If you dial *115* to call another destination (other than Hong Kong) while roaming abroad, the charge for "Roaming Call Back Service" plus the charge for IDD001 Service from Hong Kong to that destination would apply. For details on the IDD001 charges please refer to CMHK "IDD Service".
• If you make IDD calls to another destination while roaming abroad, IDD001 Service subscription is required, the charge would depend on individual countries and your called destination. Please call 12580 for details.
• If the handset cannot be connected to a local network automatically overseas, customers should manually select the suitable roaming network using the network selection function.
• To avoid incurring unnecessary roaming charges caused by Call Forwarding ("No Answer", "Unreachable" or "Busy") when you are overseas, you are advised to de-activate the conditional Call Forwarding functions, or press ##002# to cancel all Call Forwarding functions, before leaving Hong Kong.
• The availability of certain services while roaming aboard depends on the local network operators.
• The availability of "No Answer", "Unreachable" and Call Forwarding depends on local network operator.
• Both roaming and local SMS charges apply. 
• The chargeable call duration begins when the customer hits the "send" button on the handset and ends when the customer hits the "end" button on the handset.
• The outgoing call may be charged by roaming network even if the call is unanswered, picked up by network's system message, or if the other number is busy.
• Customers are required to use handsets compatible to individual networks.
• When roaming abroad, with our Voice Mailbox, IDD001 and Call Forwarding services, you can simply forward your calls to voice mailbox 62386238 before leaving Hong Kong. You can choose to forward all your calls, or only when you cannot answer the phone, cannot be reached or when the line is busy.
• For incoming call to Hong Kong number call forwarding to voicemail "62386238", no charges will be involved; to retrieve voicemail, it'll be charged at roaming rates. Customer can cancel the call forwarding function anytime via handset by pressing ##002#(send) according to individual needs. Please refer to Voice Mail for details.

5G Data Roaming Remarks:

• 5G Data Roaming is only applicable to designated existing 5G service plan or 5G Data Pack subscribers.
• 5G network is available to designated roaming service operators only. Designated countries/regions are subject to change from time to time. Roaming data service experience may be affected due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and/or other conditions which may arise.
• Only designated 5G handset model(s) or device(s) are applicable for the 5G network service.
• If data roaming service is not needed when travelling abroad, we suggest you deactivate data service (Reserve Roaming Voice Service) by pressing *109*03# on your handset before departing Hong Kong to avoid unnecessary charge, please click here for detail. Please note data charge may still be incurred even if you have turned off data roaming service on your handset.
• The roaming data access experience and speed will be subject to roaming destinations, network operators you roam with, internet conditions, server speed, coverage, locations, the computer and device used, hardware, software, the relevant service plan subscribed and other factors.
• CMHK reserves the rights to amend at any time the tariff of roaming service (including but not limited to voice, SMS and data roaming), coverage and network technologies of the roaming service providers without prior notice.
